Why can't I invest in cannabis investments with my Rocket Dollar account?
To comply with our banking partner's regulations as a federally chartered bank, we, unfortunately, cannot hold cannabis investments at this time.
Why can't Rocket Dollars Bank Partner hold cannabis investments?
Our partner bank is in Colorado. Although cannabis is completely legalized at the state level in Colorado, as a federally chartered bank (and FDIC insured) our bank partner has to comply with federal regulations. For the safety and security of its customer accounts and to comply with federal laws, our bank partner cannot accept cannabis investments at this time.
I live in a legal state and am investing in a legal cannabis state. Can I still invest?
You cannot do this through a Rocket Dollar account at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
